斯特劳布夫妻将诗人Franco Fortini的长诗《西奈之犬》（Cani del Sinai）透过诗人自己的读诗与一些空镜头结合，希冀将诗意以「不加干涉」的方式呈现，邀观众进入诗的空间。-----------------------------------------------The film is a sort of presentation of Franco Fortini's book 'I Cani del Sinai'. Fortini, an Italian Jew, reads excerpts from the book about his alienation from Judaism and from the social relations around him, the rise of Fascism in Italy, the anti-Arab attitude of European culture.
